Meet The Team: About

Marissa- Advanced Student Midwife

Marissa and her family moved to Wisconsin from Kanas in 2020. She already knew in her teenage years that motherhood and midwifery care was where she was meant to be. Her first birth was to a premature baby and this is what truly started her on the journey to birth work and finding her gift of mentoring others. Marissa was also able to have an HBAC (Home Birth After Cesarean) in 2021 with her second baby.
Marissa is a certified birth & bereavement doula, baby wearing educator, and is currently a student midwife at Southwest Technical college! Additionally, she spent a year completing a midwife assistant training program and attending births as an assistant.

Lindsey- Student Midwife & Doula

We'd like to introduce one of our new student midwives, Lindsey! Lindsey is a student midwife at SWTC and a birth and postpartum doula. She lives in Green Bay with her five wonderful children; three girls and two boys. In her free time she loves gardening and tending to her plants and her family loves going camping and being outdoors. Lindsey’s love for the birth world came shortly after her first daughter was born and from that moment on she knew she wanted to help women feel empowered by having a voice in their birth. “Don’t wait for the storms to pass, learn how to dance in the rain." -unknown
