Lindsey- Student Midwife

We'd like to introduce one of our new student midwives, Lindsey! Lindsey is a student midwife at SWTC and a birth and postpartum doula. She lives in Green Bay with her five wonderful children; three girls and two boys. In her free time she loves gardening and tending to her plants and her family loves going camping and being outdoors. Lindsey’s love for the birth world came shortly after her first daughter was born and from that moment on she knew she wanted to help women feel empowered by having a voice in their birth. “Don’t wait for the storms to pass, learn how to dance in the rain." -unknown

Winifred - Student Midwife, IBCLC

Winifred has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2010. She has done postpartum work in a small community hospital birth center and worked at a level IV NICU. For five years, she served in the pediatrics department at Oslo University Hospital Ullevål, focusing on infant feeding and non-invasive respiratory support.

She believes Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) are essential to improving birth outcomes in the United States. Her midwifery journey brought her back to the U.S. in 2023, and in 2025, she made her way to Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Antionette - Student Midwife

Antionette Wright was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and has been a resident of Green Bay for over twenty years. She is a mother of six children, four of whom are adults, and a grandmother to two beautiful baby girls. She has been married to her husband for 14 years.

Antionette is a certified postpartum and labor doula. She is also on track to graduate with an Associate Degree in Midwifery from SWTC in December 2025. Antionette is currently serving as a postpartum and labor doula to many women throughout Green Bay, WI, which provides her with hands-on experience in the field she is pursuing.

Antionette’s long-term goal is to put herself in a position to advocate for policies that ensure women’s health remains safe and accessible. Her dream is to elevate the voices of those on the front lines of birthing disparities, specifically working with underserved communities in rural areas.

Sara - Student Midwife

Sara is a mother of three who fell in love with birth after the arrival of her first baby. She is currently a student at SWTC, working toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. Outside of birth work, Sara is an Occupational Therapist—a role that has allowed her to individualize care and support her clients in reaching their goals. She also has experience in pelvic floor therapy.

In her free time, Sara enjoys crocheting, reading, spending time outdoors, and listening to birth podcasts. She believes deeply in the power of providing women with information and support, empowering them to be active members of their care team throughout pregnancy and birth.

Dani- Practice Administrator

Dani was introduced to the world of midwifery at a young age when her mother, Tesa, brought her into the business at the age of 16. Since then, Dani has worked on the office side of midwifery, where she has developed a strong appreciation for the vital care midwives provide.

Although she does not plan to become a midwife herself, Dani remains deeply committed to supporting the profession and the families it serves. In her free time she loves spending time with her 6 siblings and going on adventures with her boyfriend and 2 dogs.
